DENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Clinical Photography in Dentistry:  Hands-on course

                                      – Nikon School of Photography

Photography plays a vital role, not only in academics but also in clinical practice. It is one amongst the basic tools that enable a clinician to synthesize relevant information pertaining to the patient.

Technology despite its advances is yet to harness the artistic side of photography. Cameras can not tell what to photograph, or how to compose a picture. This is where this course comes in. It will be taking you through all aspects of photography, from choosing a camera and lenses and mastering the intricacies of exposure and depth of field, to the importance of light, using flash and composing a picture.

This course will impart specific and relevant information required for the clinical conditions in a comprehensive yet concise manner and also would explain the intricacies of photography in a summarized and digestible format. After attending this hands-on course, one will realise that clinical photography can be done with less chair-side time, few types of equipment and minimal discomfort to the patient.
